20 Oct October Update
Greetings from The Union Trade!
We’ve been under the radar for a little while now, writing and recording. Here’s an update on the exciting developments since last we wrote.
Upcoming Shows- Wednesday, October 20th THIS WEDNESDAY With Foreign Cinema @ Harlot / 9PM / $5
We will be playing our first show in San Francisco in a year at Harlot (46 Minna St.) as part of the Eclectic Live series with Foreign Cinema. We’re very excited to be back on the stage in San Francisco, and even more excited to debut new songs from our upcoming EP. We really appreciate all of you who have been to see us in the past. We’ve missed you while we were gone, so we really hope to see you at Harlot. Every bit of support counts, so thank you for all of it!
New Music
“Headlands” (EP) / Tricycle / Release: Fall 2010
We just finished the final mixes on 5 songs for an EP, tentatively titled “Headlands”, and set to be released late 2010 on our incredible label, Tricycle Records. We recorded the songs this summer with Adam Myatt engineering, and they sound great. We are moving into the final stages leading up to release. For now, however, you can only hear them October 20th at Harlot.
Other News
We want to give a very big welcome to our new drummer, David Elrod. He’s brought some amazing dynamics to our recordings and live set, as well as a slightly twisted sense of humor to the band room. Don’t miss his Union Trade stage debut at Harlot.
You can buy our past releases (physical and digital) of our music on the tricycle records website
Gratitude
Thanks for reading. Be well everyone.
